Mehrpouya
Mehr-Pouya building was designed in a historical and old context of the city with a limited budget. What was important to us in this project; Respect for the environment and the use of materials in harmony with the design context, and avoidance of formal view and approach, to facade design. The general idea of the project is to respect the urban fabric and not to encroach on the overall visual scope of the city and to accept it as a pure whole. In this regard, we chose to avoid unfamiliar geometry, crushing and simplifying the form and using natural materials without retouching. Considering all the above, we chose the brick material and parametric geometry, the purpose of this choice was to maintain the generality, purity and integrity of the whole facade.
In combining and creating harmony with bricks, we chose wood and concrete as secondary materials, and in the meantime, vegetation was added to the whole work in order to induce a sense of liveliness and stylization of the space.
