Industrial Monument

With a look at Iranian architectural history, we can acclaim that, entrance is not just a 2nd dimension surface with a superficial look, Iranian traditional architecture always looked to this structure as an atmospheric phenomenon, and during ages, entering the buildings or any physical environment has a conventional ritual. In this project, our main goal and idea are based on the mentioned theory. We try to give the feeling of a changing atmosphere to the audiences who pass this structure, we focus on the sense of water, light, and texture instead of superficial ornaments.

Two surfaces are united in two spots, the first is the symbol of Tabriz's historical architecture and the other is the symbol of the industrial theme of context and the future look of Tabriz as an industrial city of Iran. These symbolic elements are combined with atmospheric components and present a unique feeling and experience for those who pass the structures.
